Security

Cybersecurity is the practice of protecting critical systems and sensitive information from digital attacks. It is what will prevent or mitigate the damage that can be caused by cyber criminals. One of the main risks is thinking they don't exist. Assess your risks and be prepared for the unexpected. In addition to the special technology and the necessary digital equipment, the pillars and principles of cybersecurity or information security must be extended to all professionals in the area, responsible for data systems of companies of all sizes. As we always emphasize, an effective security strategy encompasses much more than just technology; it requires a combination of user awareness, robust protocols, and vigilant governance. We highlight the fundamental principles that underpin all aspects of security and should be non-negotiable as they form the heart of a robust cybersecurity architecture:

➤ Confidentiality
Ensure that the data or information is seen only by those who have access permission, authorized people, maintaining the degree of confidentiality. For example, assigning access levels according to the functions and responsibilities of each user. In addition, it is important to adopt protective measures, such as data encryption, two-factor authentication and biometric verification, to ensure that sensitive information is secure, that is, that data is kept safe from prying eyes.

➤ Integrity
Ensuring that the data, information or file is complete and has not undergone any alteration or manipulation, such as checksums, HASH functions and digital signatures, help to guarantee the authenticity and integrity of a document, ensuring that the data is reliable.

➤ Availability
It aims to ensure that data and information are always available when needed. For this, it is necessary to adopt measures such as backup and redundancy, hardware maintenance, the execution of immediate repairs and the guarantee of network connectivity, in order to guarantee that the data can be recovered in case of failures or attacks and that it can be accessed.

➤ Authenticity
Defines that the information is being sent from a legitimate and secure source. This involves the adoption of measures such as user authentication, the use of digital certificates and the adoption of security protocols such as HTTPS.
